Publisher to Google Docs and Google Slides
Google Drive cannot open or preview .pub files. Convert the file first, then upload the result to Drive.
To keep the layout: use Google Slides
Google Slides lets you place text and pictures anywhere on the page, like Publisher did. Upload your .pub file on our home page and download the file ending in Canva, Google Slides.pptx. In Google Drive, choose New, File upload, then open the file with Google Slides. Text stays editable.

Upload the Word file (.docx) we give you to Google Drive and open it with Google Docs. You get all the text and pictures in reading order. The layout is simplified, because Docs is made for flowing text.
Set the page size
Publisher flyers are usually US Letter or A4. In Google Slides, use File, Page setup, Custom to match, for example 8.5 x 11 inches, before printing.
